Ahmad Noorul Shaqulain is a photographer working between documentary inquiry and material exploration. Rooted in long-term engagement and collaborative research, his practice unfolds slowly through observation, listening, and sustained presence.

He is constantly experimenting with format, often using his journal as a point of departure. Moving across photography, photobooks, exhibition documentation, and print processes, he is attentive to how images live in the world: as objects, sequences, and narratives shaped by design and touch. Much of his work attempts to question a world in constant flux, responding to shifting social, personal, and political landscapes through intimate and careful looking.

Originally from Delhi and currently based in Aarhus, Denmark, he is studying photojournalism at DMJX on a full scholarship. He is currently developing his first photobook while continuing to expand his visual language through cultural, editorial, and artistic collaborations.
